How online repeat ordering works
ScriptSync lets your patients order and pay for their repeats online. Paid orders land in one queue for your team, so you spend less time on the phone, and more on pharmacy.

Every online order follows the same path, and it’s paid before it reaches your team.
Patients order online
- Your team invites each patient by email. There’s no public sign-up, so only patients you already know can order.
- They sign in to your pharmacy’s portal on any phone, tablet or computer. There’s no app to download.
- They see which repeats they can order today and when the next one is due, and can add anything from your shop to the same order.
- They choose pickup or delivery at checkout. You set one flat delivery fee.
They pay up front
- Patients pay by card on eWAY’s secure hosted payment page.
- A repeat is only used once the payment goes through, never before.
- Each script’s remaining repeats and next-eligible date are checked on every order, and a repeat that’s already in an order awaiting payment can’t be ordered a second time.
Your team prepares it
- The paid order lands in your queue, ready to prepare.
- Mark it ready for collection or shipped, and the patient is emailed at each step. Those emails never name a medicine.
- Orders waiting too long are flagged, and a “Needs attention” inbox gathers anything that needs a person.

Once an order is paid, only your staff can cancel it, and cancelling puts the repeat back on the script. Refunds are handled through your usual process.

ScriptSync doesn’t replace your dispensing software. It sits in front of it. Dispensing stays exactly where it is. ScriptSync takes care of ordering and payment, so paid repeats reach your team ready to prepare.
