Do patients need to download an app?
No. ScriptSync runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Patients sign in to your pharmacy’s portal and order from there.
Does ScriptSync replace our dispensing software?
No. It sits in front of it. Dispensing stays exactly where it is — ScriptSync takes care of ordering and payment, so paid repeats reach your team ready to prepare.
Which dispensing systems does it work with?
ScriptSync has a Minfos integration, and each part of it is switched on separately once your pharmacy is set up. It also runs on its own, with your team managing scripts in the portal. Using something else? Talk to us.
How do patients get access?
Your team invites them by email. There’s no public sign-up, so only patients you already know can order.
How do payments work?
Patients pay by card on eWAY’s secure hosted payment page. If someone pays at the counter instead — EFTPOS, cash or bank transfer — your staff can record it against the order.
Can a patient order a repeat too early?
No. Each script’s remaining repeats and next-eligible date are checked on every order, and a repeat that’s already in an order awaiting payment can’t be ordered a second time.
What if an order needs to be cancelled?
Once an order is paid, only your staff can cancel it — and cancelling puts the repeat back on the script. Refunds are handled through your usual process.
